2026 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport: Extreme Power, Iconic Style, and High-Performance Driving

FREE GIFT

2026 Chevrolet Corvette has always been America’s answer to European supercars, and for 2026, the Grand Sport name is back with a vengeance. It sits perfectly between the wild Z06 and the “normal” Stingray, giving you track-ready performance without completely breaking the bank or your spine on daily drives. If you love the idea of a mid-engine Corvette but want something sharper than a base car and less insane than a ZR1,

Design

The 2026 Grand Sport looks angry in the best way. Chevrolet took the wide-body design from the Z06 (those huge hips are still there), but toned down the giant wing and added a cleaner, lower rear spoiler. Up front, you get a more aggressive splitter and special canards on the corners that actually help push the nose down at high speed.

The star of the show? New exclusive 7-spoke wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear) finished in a dark gunmetal color that looks killer against Torch Red or the new-for-2026 Sebring Orange Rush paint. Inside, it’s classic Corvette: lots of leather, carbon-fiber trim, and seats that hug you tight. You can even get the competition sport seats with bigger bolsters if you plan to hit the track often.

Features

Under the rear glass sits the same glorious 5.5-liter flat-plane crank V8 from the Z06, making 670 horsepower and revving to nearly 9,000 rpm. Yes, you read that right — the Grand Sport gets the full-fat Z06 engine! But Chevy pairs it with a slightly taller final drive ratio and the standard 8-speed dual-clutch (no manual, sorry purists). That means it’s still lightning quick (0-60 in about 2.7 seconds) but a tiny bit easier to live with.

You also get the magnetic ride control 4.0, the amazing electronic limited-slip diff, and giant Brembo brakes with 6-piston front calipers. Want more? Tick the Z07 package and you’ll add carbon-fiber aero parts, stickier Cup 2 R tires, and carbon-ceramic brakes. Suddenly your Grand Sport is basically a Z06 with better manners.

Price

The 2026 Corvette Grand Sport starts at $112,900 for the 1LT coupe. That’s roughly $20,000 more than a loaded Stingray but almost $30,000 less than a base Z06. Go for the convertible and you’re looking at around $119,900. Add the Z07 package and some carbon bits and you can push past $140k pretty fast, but even then you’re still under a fully loaded Z06.

Mileage

Let’s be real — nobody buys a 670-hp mid-engine monster for fuel economy. Still, the official EPA numbers are 14 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, 17 combined. Drive it gently on the highway and low 20s is possible. Hammer it everywhere and you’ll be lucky to see 12 mpg. The tank is only 18.5 gallons, so plan your gas stops on long trips.

Note:-This information is not completely accurate; there is no official launch information yet, but it is likely to be launched in 2026.
